Clinical Pilates in Port Macquarie

Port Macquarie Sports Medicine Centre’s Clinical Pilates and regular Pilates programs are affordable exercise-based Physiotherapy programs adapted for all individuals recovering from recent and recurring injuries. Your Physiotherapist will consider the specific needs for your body and injury, and show you ways to improve your overall physical health and reduce pain.
Our Physiotherapist will begin with a one-to-one initial Pilates assessment to design a treatment plan and carefully select the correct exercises to help improve performance. Your Physiotherapist will also decide if our Regular Pilates Programs, or Clinical Pilates Programs, will be more suited to your needs. Our Regular Pilates Class is a circuit-based equipment exercise class of 8-12 people which is run by our specially trained Physiotherapists. While regular Pilates is beneficial for overall physical health, Clinical Pilates is more patient-specific and tailored more towards your goals. You will generally follow up with a 1hr group Clinical Pilates session, consisting of up to 4 people, where your strength and performance will be assessed and continuously monitored.
